MOHNTON, Pa. - Maple Grove Raceway will conclude its 2012 season this weekend with two on-the-track events featuring local racers.

On Saturday, Nov. 3, there will be a session of grudge racing/test and tune. Bring out your car and see what it can do on the track.

Gates open at 9 a.m. with racing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $20 for street driven cars and $25 for entries on a trailer. Spectators are $10 with children 12 and under free.

Sunday, Nov. 4 is the delayed Ghosts and Goblins at The Grove, including the Junior Dragster Challenge and the King of the Track for E.T. bracket racers.

All Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail brackets, including Super, Pro, Street and Top Bike, will run with standard purses. Trophy class will also run.

In the Junior Drag Racing Challenge young racers will have a chance to win a miniature Wally Parks Trophy.

Also being contested is the annual King of the Track competition that was delayed from Sept. 2. This race gives the weekly racers from the Money Trail, as well as competitors from other tracks, a chance to race for a special Wally Parks Trophy.

There will also be a special Outlaw 330-foot race for Juniors. Entry is $20.

After a regular bracket race, the winners from Super, Pro, Street and Top Bike eliminators will take part in a special runoff race. The car with the best package is the winner.

Gates open on Sunday at 8 a.m. with time trials at 9 and eliminations at 1 p.m. Trick-or-treating around the pits will begin at 4 p.m.

Besides filling your bags with candy, there will be contests for best-decorated car, best decorated pit area, best decorated pit crew, best costume, best-decorated auxiliary vehicle and best-costumed pet. The winner of each category gets a $10 Target gift card.

Gates on Sunday will open at 8 a.m. with time trials at 9 and eliminations at 1 p.m. Please note that clocks will be turned back to Standard Time on Saturday night, so don't forget to "fall back!"

Entry fees will be similar to a normal Money Trail event. Adult fans can enter for $15, teens ages 13-15 are $10 and children 12 and under are free.
