LAS VEGAS - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 12th annual Big O Tires NHRA Nationals:

Bellemeur with the starting line advantage, but Payne has the difference made up by 100 feet and then runs the quickest pass of the event for the win. Annie Whiteley's MOV: 0.0964 seconds (approximately 35 feet). She will give up lane choice to Lombardo in the next round.
