MADISON, Ill. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Inaugural AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals:

Commisso with the starting line advantage, but Janis has the difference made up by 250 feet and take the win by 0.0492 seconds (approximately 18 feet). Janis with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win. Mike Janis' incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.596, 660ft-3.876/193.43 mph, 1,000ft-4.965. Commisso with his quickest pass in a losing effort. Raymond Commisso's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.659, 660ft-3.960/192.52 mph, 1,000ft-5.052.

Knowles is 1 - 0 against Farber in prior events. Knowles with a big starting line advantage, but then made a quick move toward the centerline and he clicked it off. Farber shook the tires right at the hit and pedaled it and takes the win.

Martin will have lane choice against Farber in the next round. Satterfield with his quickest pass of the weekend in the losing effort. Castellana then gets out of the groove and real close to the wall. Castellana does a great job driving staying with it and driving it back into the groove to take the win. Mike Castellana's MOV: 0.0272 seconds (approximately 7 feet). It appeared Matusek had the chutes out early...
