WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - Results of final, round 3 eliminations in Amsoil Prostalgia Nitro Funny Car at the 2012 Nitro Jam Series, NAPA Auto Parts Nitro Jam presented by Good Vibrations and Cricket, Day Two:

10:21 p.m. After a top-end cleanup following Densham's "flamer," these two squared off for the final race of the event. They were only a couple hundredths apart in performance in the first round, so this figured to be a driver's race.

Well, Savage grabbed a three hundredths holeshot at the green, then ran low ET of the weekend (a thousandth quicker than Densham) to make it two Iron Men in two nights. Rupert made a nice run, his best of the day, but he was well back at the finish.
