the throttle cable, the engine abruptly dying on the launch. Taylor made an excellent pass to move up a couple spots, showing that the track is there if you know how to set the car up. Martin was on a quick run, but the engine let go with a big BOOM before the stripe. Looks like the cleanup will be for parts and pieces, no oil, and the staging lanes are empty.
