POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 46th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Stanfield and Krisher are even at three wins each coming into his round, and Stanfield is 7 - 3 against Krisher in prior events.

Krisher's GXP is all over his lane at the launch and it costs him, as he can't catch a quicker Stanfield.

Deceglie is a bunch early and throws away the pass. Humphrey way there for the picking and gets the easy win.

Edwards has had a tough Count Down and is three to one in first round races against a strong Brogdon. Edwards is 7 - 1 against Brogdon in prior events.

Edwards' year ends on a whimper, as the Pontiac goes wacky at the hit.

Brogdon was going to be hard to beat with a good RT and ET.

Gaines drills WJ at the green and pulls steadily ahead to take the win and lane choice over Humphrey's in the next round.

Last race for Coughlin and he has to race the new 2010 Pro Stock Champion. Anderson has a 9-5 win record in past round one encounters. He has won nine times in the nineteen prior races here and is looking to make this a five in a row appearance in the finals. Anderson is 38 - 27 against Coughlin in prior events.

Small advantage for Coughlin at the green and the 2010 Champion gets beat on a hole shot. Brogdon will get lane choice next round by speed.
