St. Arnaud runs a career best MPH, close to his ET too.

Severance gets a full pass this time and just misses the top half of the field.

Don St. Arnaud's incremental times: 60ft-0.952 sec., 330ft-2.468, 660ft-3.610/219.04 mph, 1,000ft-4.578.

Buddy Domingue is on the bump spot at 5.460.

Shields is unpredictably not in the field after round one and will be the last car to bump in for the session. The fueler is dropping cylinders down the track and can only just bump in.

Great pass for Miersch with a career best MPH, near his best ET.

Duane Shields' incremental times: 60ft-0.945 sec., 330ft-2.471, 660ft-3.614/220.33 mph, 1,000ft-4.589.

Almost a good pass for Cowie, as there is smoke off the engine in the lights. He loses 0.001 in ET and over eight MPH to stay #5.

Nicholson is done by the three thirty and slows.

No oil!

Shawn Cowie's incremental times: 60ft-0.921 sec., 330ft-2.329, 660ft-3.465/216.00 mph, 1,000ft-4.453.
