Rain Delay Continues
By Larry Sullivan
6:15 PM -- No change. It's still raining, a light mist, just enough to make the track surface
shiny without ponding.
Race officials still hope the rain will shift away from the track, allowing us to complete one
round of Professional qualifying.
There is not much in the way of alternate plans for this weekend. The next available weekend is
between Chicago and Dallas, and that time of year it could snow here as easily as it could rain.
The weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow calls for light rain, ending Saturday night, with
a very small chance of rain Sunday.
Stay tuned, we'll let you know when the situation changes.
