MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 16th annual O'Reilly NHRA Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Bazemore has beat Lee all four previous times these two have raced. Bazemore with the slight starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the win. This was a great side-by-side drag race.

Capps has 12 to 7 advantage in head to head match ups. Capps with the slight starting line advantage and the win when Densham started to smoke the tires around 3oo feet down track. Capps will give up lane choice to Bazemore in the semifinal.

Tony Pedregon with a 23 to 9 advantage in head to head match up against Skuza. Skuza with the starting line advantage, but then Tony had the lead at 60 feet until just past half track when Skuza drove back around and took the win.

Dean Skuza's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.003), 330 ft(-0.002), 660ft(-0.004), 1,000ft(0.008). MOV: 0.0264 seconds (approximately 12 feet). Skuza with low E.T. of the round and he will have lane choice over Force in the semifinal.
