Left Lane: Frank Hawley Runs 4.072/307.16, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.589/79.51, Was #22
Right Lane: Tony Bartone Runs 4.156/300.86, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.012/88.50, Was #21

7:02 p.m. The clouds once again have left the property. The humidity is rising steadily. In theory this should be a quicker session than earlier, but theories don't always pan out. Neither of these drivers made it past 300ft in their first session. The theory has been proven right. Hawley runs a career best ET to the 1000ft. Bartone makes a great run as the candles were lit all the way down the track.

The crew chiefs are licking their chops after that first pair. Gilbertson looked good early but the pipes started to getting wet as he charged down the track. Toliver makes a good run and he lands himself in the field for now.

Right now Del Worsham is on the bump with a 4.18. Hagan makes a great run and he bumps himself into the top half of the field for the moment. Johnson makes a "Monster" run and he moves up the ladder to land in the 9th spot for now. Hagan runs a career best 1000ft.

Right Lane: Bob Tasca III Runs 4.129/300.53, Now #4; Best prior run: 4.243/290.57, Was #20
Densham makes a big move up the ladder. Densham's car goes straight down the center of the groove and there was fire in the pipes all the way down. Tasca in the other lane runs his best time of the weekend and he moves into the 4th position.

Very nice side-by-side race, Wilkerson is quicker in the short time, Scelzi though has a huge top end charge. Wilkerson runs quicker but Scelzi was right behind him.

Another great side-by-side run. Hight makes a huge charge at the finish-line and he will tie Hawley in ET but has the slower MPH, and Hight winds up in the 2nd spot. Pedregon makes a great pass, straight down the center of the lane.

Worsham makes a great pass, he sets his career best in the speed department. Beckman looked good but his car moved around a little bit through the track. Beckman also sets a career best but his is in the ET department.
