LAS VEGAS - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Sixth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals:

12:21 p.m. Ellis is 45-27 in his career and won this race in '04.

Ellis leaves a little too early and gives the win to Tonglet.

Treble is 4-3 facing Schnitz....make that 4-4. Treble leaves just a bit too quickly, Schnitz goes right down the groove for the win.

Scali leaves first, starts pulling away, and extends his lead at every marker.

Smith has a 2-0 advantage in match-ups with Rivas. Rivas gets the hole-shot, then Smith starts making up ground, driving around Rivas just before half-track.

Matt Smith's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.002), 330 ft(-0.001), 660ft(0.004), 1,000ft(0.006). MOV: 0.0053 seconds (approximately 17 inches).

Scali will have lane choice over Smith in round two.

Sampey has qualified for 149 straight races. She is 5-3 facing Stoffer.

Another red-light, Stoffer is too quick off the line giving Sampey the easy win.

Schnitz will have lane choice over Sampey in round two.

This is Gann's first start from the pole since Saint Louis in '03 and it is his fifth in his career.

Andreano leaves way too early and gives the win to Gann. Gann will have lane choice over Tonglet in round two.
