LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Sixth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Tony Rizzo Runs 6.848/201.25, Now #24; Best prior run: 6.952/197.57, Was #25

Rizzo mad a move in the right direction, but is still not close of getting into the show.

Left Lane: Max Naylor Runs 6.812/202.39, Now #20; Best prior run: 15.658/51.87, Was #27
Right Lane: Pete Carbery Runs 6.903/200.41, Now #27; Best prior run: 7.801/132.78, Was #26

Naylor is finally able to get it down the track, but still comes up short. Carbery is able to get it down the track.

Left Lane: Ben Watson Runs 6.780/201.16, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.827/200.65, Was #24
Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 16.186/49.31, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.800/202.42, Was #17

Enders makes quick move toward the wall and has to shut it off. Watson with his best pass of the weekend to get into the show. He bumps out Stevens.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.832/201.88, Now #23; Best prior run: 6.816/202.48, Was #23
Right Lane: Jose Maldonado Runs 6.852/200.95, Now #26; Best prior run: 6.874/200.20, Was #26

Left Lane: Bob Panella Runs 6.759/203.98, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.815/202.94, Was #22
Right Lane: Tommy Brown Runs 6.833/202.18, Now #24; Best prior run: 6.821/202.79, Was #24

Panella with a great pass to get into the show, and he bumps out Watson.

Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.747/203.68, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.806/203.52, Was #21
Right Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.761/203.80, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.792/202.88, Was #18

Both of these guys get in the show. Coughlin with a great pass to get into the top half of the show. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-1.008 sec., 330ft-2.822, 660ft-4.338/162.24mph, 1,000ft-5.643

WJ runs just good enough to get into the show, but only on the bump.

No help for either of these two.

Anderson with his best pass of the weekend to move up to the number three spot. Lee with a really good looking pass to get into the top half of the show.
