By Rick Green

LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Sixth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.792/202.88, Now #7; No Prior Run

Stevens was leaking brake fluid in the first round. THis should be an indication on how good the track and air conditions are tonight. Nice pass for Stevens to get into the top half of the show and he bumped out Yates.

Left Lane: Pete Carbery Runs 12.053/98.65, Now #24; Best prior run: 7.801/132.78, Was #23
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.759/204.01, Now #2; No Prior Run

Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.806/203.52, Now #13; No Prior Run

Rizzo got real loose and clipped the half track cone and then the top end mph cone. Coughlin had his throttle cable fall off during the first round. Coughlin straight down the groove to get into the show, and that bumped out WJ.
