Right Lane: Jeff Bohr Runs 5.379/266.48, Now #2
1:45 p.m. The left lane still seems to be suspect as many cars are losing traction at the 150 to 300 foot mark.
Both cars make a mostly straight path to the finish line. As more pairs go through, the track should be getting better and better as it comes in.
That's the quickest pass this year for both drivers.
Left Lane: Ken Perry Runs 5.462/259.61, Now #3
Right Lane: Marty Thacker No Time, Now #10
Thacker's engine goes silent just off the line after he spins the tires hard.
Left Lane: Rich McPhillips Runs 21.924/29.59, Now #11
Right Lane: Mike Kosky Runs 5.302/267.53, Now #2
McPhillips immediately goes up in clouds of smoke.
According to our records, that's an all-time best for Kosky.
Left Lane: Bill Reichert Runs 5.209/276.63, Now #1
Right Lane: Lee Callaway Runs 5.325/267.27, Now #4
Reichert can wrap up the 2006 championship here this weekend. He serves notice that he's ready to race and goes to the top of the list.
Left Lane: Arthur Gallant Runs 19.204/52.92, Now #14
Right Lane: John Finke Runs 5.256/277.32, Now #2
Gallant strikes the tires just off the line, Finke slaps the pedal once at about 200 feet.
That's a remarkable ET and speed for Finke considering he had to let off in the early part of the run.
