MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of final, round 7 eliminations in Super Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

6:00 p.m. - Weather conditions: air temperature 70 degrees, relative humidity 45 percent, barometer 29.66 inches, adjusted altitude 1,248 feet, track temperature 74 degrees.

Matsko had never been to a final round before this. Fletcher had been to 42 of them. He had five wins this year before this race, three in Stock and two in Super Stock.

Make that three in Super Stock. Fletcher had the better light and stayed out in front the whole way to get his six national event win of the season.

That's the final final and we are done here at Maple Grove. After all the bad weather and downtime we had this weekend, eliminations today went like clockwork and we finished up at a reasonable time of day.
