 Qualified: #8 4.549 324.98 #11 4.566 319.37
Weather conditions: air temperature 70 degrees, relative humidity 45 percent, barometer 29.66 inches, adjusted altitude 1,248 feet, track temperature 74 degrees.

If you look at the history of this pair, Melanie would seem to be the favorite. She's faced Todd six times and won five of them. Her last win was at Las Vegas. If she wins here, she will be 130 points from the lead and only 78 out of second.

It's an all-Knoll final and there's much at stake here.

J.R. Todd leaves first and is ahead all the way to the finish line, running a career-best run. It's his first venture into the 40s but I guarantee you it won't be his last.

Both cars make exceptional runs, straight down the middle. Melanie lost her engine just at the finish line.

That's J.R.'s third National Event win in his very short career. Years from now, you'll be able to say you saw him grow into the role he's certainly going to fill in the future. This kid is going to do big things.
