MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

Martin chattered the tires for 200 feet and shut it down. Manzo had a strong run for the win and his lowest ET of the weekend so far.

Tasca had his career best ET on a nice looking run. In the other lane, Beers launched and his car appeared to break. All the could do was coast to mid track before the car stopped.

Newberry launched and started shaking the tires right away. He tried to pedal it because Schuster's car shook the tires too. Schuster pedaled his car, a part came off and hit the foam block at 330 feet. Schuster was able to get his car straightened out to take the win. He'll face Manzo in the next round but will not have lane choice.

White had some tire shake at 100 feet but drove through it. Lourie had his best run of the weekend but it was not enough to get the win. White gave up lane choice to Tasca in the next round.
