Pro Nostalgia Qualifying Notes, Session #2

EDMONTON, Alb. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Nostalgia at the 2006 eMax Drag Racing Series, CARS RV & Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by TORCO Racing Fuels listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed this round, amount over/under index this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time, speed & over/under Index, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Jay Mageau Runs 7.572/182.01/0.072, Now #3; PN Index: 7.50, No Prior Run
Right Lane: Not on File Runs 7.889/165.50/0.389, Now #7; PN Index: 7.50, No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 30 percent, barometer 28.10 inches,adjusted altitude 3,540 feet, track temperature 93 degrees.

Still no driver or car info in the computer for the right-lane driver. The local announcer says it is a local sprint car driver - that's no help to us out-of-towners.

This time he got on the legal side of the 7.50 dial-in, both cars making clean runs.

Plaizier made a nice run in the first session to get the second spot on the list, Harris came in fifth. Harrisde his burnout, then shut it off. Plaizier made a too-quick run this time outhe groove.

Left Lane: Dave Robinson Runs 8.341/168.96/-57.049, Now #3; PN Index: 65.39, No Prior Run
Right Lane: Tony Kupris Runs 7.710/184.85/-57.680, Now #7; PN Index: 65.39, No Prior Run

Kupris got his car slowed down under the magic 7.50 number this time around. Robinson struggled early in the run and was way behind Kupris on the other end of the track.
