Identical indexes, but not technically a heads-up race. Crimmins' crew had a difficult time getting the starter off the supercharger after firing the engine, Deceglie making his burnout and backing up before all the tugging and yanking did the job. Deceglie went red and Crimmins' car stalled on the launch! Six for six...

Another blown car, this one stuffed into a Beretta. Justice was late and his car made a big move out toward the wall. He still ran way under his index, in a losing cause.

A turbocharged car was the quicker in this pairing, but Mihovetz' Cougar has been inconsistent so far this weekend. He went red and Hedlund slowed as soon as his win light came on. The #1 and #2 qualifiers are already gone, the highest-qualified survivor being #3-qualified Smithfield.
