LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Fifth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.211/186.20, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.340/178.87, Was #15
Right Lane: Thomas Byrd Jr. Runs 7.891/166.46, Now #27; Best prior run: 7.888/162.96, Was #27

Weather conditions: air temperature 72 degrees, relative humidity 37 percent, barometer 28.35 inches, adjusted altitude 2,902 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

Hines with his best pass of the weekend to move to the number two spot.

Smith with a nice pass to get into the show and that bumped out Berry. Joe DeSantis is on the bump spot at 7.336.

Andreano with problems early and coasted to a stop on the track.
