CLERMONT, Ind. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Ringer's Gloves Pro Bike Battle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 15th annual Ringers Gloves Pro Bike Battle:

The eight best Pro Stock Motorcycle racers in qualifying over the past year meet to split up a $36,000 purse in the Ringers Gloves Pro Bike Battle, with $15,000 to the winner and a possible $10,000 bonus if they can also win the 51st annual MAC Tools U.S. Nationals.

Ellis on a holeshot! Chip Ellis' incremental margins: 60ft(0.036), 330 ft(0.032), 660ft(0.036), 1,000ft(0.037). MOV: 0.0238 seconds (approximately 7 feet). This also counts as qualifying, so it's not a total loss for Sampey.
